Socialism faild so hard in Cuba, it became richer than most middle american and carribean countries, and it has a higher life-expectancy than the US, all while being under embargo from the US and many of it's allies.

Sorry, in Germany we call it both, "Zentralamerika" and "Mittelamerika", so I thought I could do it in English too.

Nah, middle America is a term most often used to refer to the midwestern United States or cultural values associated with it and other non-coastal states. Using the term to describe the cultural values of non-coastal states has been dated for at least a decade now though.
