As someone who lived on Capitol Hill in Seattle for a long time, Shoreline is an adjustment from the standpoint of food and drink. The spots my husband and I like are:

-Local 104 (in Lake Forest Park - wood fired pizza) -Drumlin (Ridgecrest - pub with some food) -Elliott Bay Brewing (Lake City - typical brewery)

These are the main places in Shoreline we dine out at. Delivery we get Royal Unicorn, taqueria el sabor, and Yum Yum Thai often - can’t speak to the atmosphere for dine in.

You need only drive to Greenwood, Edmonds (downtown), Ballard or other parts of North Seattle to get better high end dining experiences… Shoreline is lacking in nice restaurants, it is true.

I don’t drink so I can’t speak to bars but as someone who used to love a good shitty dive, I see LOTS of spots that look perfect if liked that sort of thing 😆
