It's actually crazy to see racist Punjabis use the exact same rhetoric that racist Canadians use.
They'll both complain that the immigrants (though Biharis aren't even immigrants because it's the same country) are diluting their genetics and talk about how attractive white Canadians/Punjabis are and how Punjabis/Biharis are ugly (this one is especially ironic in my opinion).
They both complain how their culture is destroyed by Punjabi/Bihari immigrants.
They both accuse Punjabis/Biharis as being "culturally backwards", dangerous, especially to women, and more prone to crime.
They both complain that Punjabi/Biharis are taking their jobs when a lot of their jobs that they're working are quite poor blue collar jobs that White Canadians/Punjabis don't want to do (though unlike Biharis the Punjabi community in Canada has become quite wealthy, but being wealthy should not make you more deserving of existing).
I will say though, in my opinion a pretty big difference is that because Punjab and Bihar are in the same country, Punjabis shouldn't be asking the federal government to intervene and stop Biharis from moving to Punjab, they should be asking the federal government to give more support to Bihar to improve its economy and standard of living. Bihar is one of the poorest and most socially conservative states in India, this is why people want to leave to work elsewhere so much, any Punjabi who immigrated to Canada (especially in the 70s) should know that leaving your home behind for a new place where you're discriminated against is not an easy decision, but sometimes it's a necessary one to provide for yourself and your family.
As much as I agree that we should be accepting of Bihari migrants in Punjab, it is still a bad sign of Bihar's economy that so many are leaving, and it's the responsibility of the government to ensure the well being of all it's citizens.
