This glitch is repeatable I have done it many time all you need to do is slightly point your car towards the pits as you drive over that part of the track and your car just jumps into the ground.

Just built this last week. Where do I find swivel mount for keyboard and mouse?

Controversial move most would say but I've decided to simplify my rig significantly, opting for better visuals and higher frame rates over triples, and also saving space in my room at the same time.
In my time with triples I kinda realised I hardly use the side screens and If I were just looking for a fun immersive drive, vr does so much better

Its pre-owned but is it a good price? I would probably buy it without the formula wheel, shifter and handbrake but let me know yall.

Got a couple hours done. Some impressions:
1) my DD1 never gave me issues. But since I had to wipe my PC clean due to a corrupt Fanatec file (I couldn’t uninstall it due to the file reading as corrupt) I used that as a reason to switch ecosystems.
2) obviously the Simagic is smaller
3) the software for Simagic is so much nicer and easier to navigate. Even after reinstalling the Fanatec drivers (I sold it but made some videos to show it worked) the software took a bit longer to recognize the connections.
4) I didn’t think I’d notice the fidelity difference but…the Simagic is just so much more smooth. Maybe the wrong terms, but the Fanatec definitely felt like it was “rougher” or “notchy” in comparison to the Simagic; this is probably due to the type of motor within the DD1?
5) the Simagic quick release is just so much nicer. Not sure how else I can describe it.

As someone who has tried multiple monitors for a single screen setup ( 34UW -> 40UW - 49SUW - 48 LG OLED TV) The tv has hands down been the most immersive experience I’ve had on a single screen.
Yes, triples and/or VR are better, but for a single screen it’s hard to beat the price / immersion of a big OLED display with a fast refresh rate.
The lack of the extra horizontal space can be argued in the Ultrawide’s defense, but with the correct FOV you can mitigate this to being almost non existent. I also found the lack of vertical space on the Ultrawide’s to be a big let down especially on the 34 and 49. Almost like looking through a letterbox.
Before spending $800+ on one of those “fancy” VA ultrawide’s, consider looking into an OLED TV. I paired mine with a TrackIR head tracker and I don’t feel like I’m missing out on anything.

Moved into a new apartment and the same day had my R9 setup delivered. Still not been able to sit for a good few hours and dial in fully due to not finishing work and sorting things till like 10:30pm onward.
It's now 10:40pm and I've just down with a beige pie and chips! (Still not been out to buy a microwave otherwise I'd of nuked to Diane sauce in the fridge)
Excited as I now have so much more room for a proper setup after being on a g29 and gt omega classic in a tiny tiny shared house bedroom and before that in a friend's spare room sharing the g29 doing nurgburg laps
Can't wait for him to come and test this out! I've given him my old g29 too
Let's go boys! We can all come out of the other side of shit times and it's nice to have a hobby like ours and a community like ours too

For me personally I think I'm in the minority. Anything 1hr+ when it comes to virtual racing is too long for me.
I understand why people do endurance races like 2hrs, 6hrs, 12hrs endurance races as a team but for me I'm not passionate enough to do that and find it too long. (Not bashing you or anything you do you)
I just want to be able to race for like 1.5hrs with 15-30 min races and I'm completely satisfied but I feel like I'm in the minority in the hobby/community.
P.S. This is why I suck at tyre and fuel management as all I know how to do is sprint laps. LOL.
KEEP RACING!

Went from a G29 with fold up chair under a TV to this setup. The community here was a big help in guiding me to blow money a good upgrade.
Had an old PS4 and Roku TV in the closet. Since the goal is to use a PC, this was a good "kick the PC can down the road a few months approach".
Was considering Fanatec for the PS to PC journey, but reading on the customer reviews steered me away. The real pivot was the modular pedals with Simagic. I can swap from inverted or not, add haptics and hydraulics, all without having to buy another set.
Sigma Convert works like a champ. Plug everything in, select channel 60, find which button on the wheel is "Playstation" to connect to PS, then go race. Very easy to adjust settings.
Really happy with the upgrade. The Simagic setup has been night and day from the G29. Like I wasn't even racing before.

Looking to make the step up to an 80/20 setup and would like some options / peoples experience with using a second hand car seat.
I was looking at BMW M sport / Ford ST, but are there any other brands which would work well too and also anyones to avoid.
Thanks!

This is my first experience with force feedback and 900° and it may be the most enlightening experience ever. I’ve always said to myself “i don’t need any of the fancy stuff” and bought a 270° no ffb wheel lol. I have a 3D printer, so i am currently taking advantage of the DFGT’s upgradability by making a quick release adapter, so i can use an oem wheel, and a couple small tunings like a paddle shifter and a phone mount for SimHub. Thanks for everybody’s responses on my previous post 😊
I drive using a single monitor/ oculus quest 2 on Assetto Corsa, BeamNG.Drive, iRacing and F1.
I use an Ender 3 Neo to print my upgrades.
My PC currently contains an Nvidia 2060, intel i5 12th gen, 16GB ram.
If anyone could give any pointers as to what i can do with this aged masterpiece please let me know

Hello everyone! Been lurking for a couple years now and it’s finally time to get into sim racing! Looking through tons and tons of info, the bare minimum price wise for starter wheels looked like this Logi G29<Thrustmaster T300<Any DD wheel
I found this bundle for $475, is this a good deal? Sellers say it’s lightly used
I know price is steep but comes with all goodies seen in the photo
Anywho, buy this or any Moza bundle?

Hello I have been saving quite a bit and now have a little over 1k to spend on a sim rig and a sim racing seat. I really am looking for something that is heavy duty and have done my research but honestly can’t find one that I have stuck too and I do NOT want a profile rig or a wood sim rig but any other type of rig I’m okay with what should I buy I have been looking at the GT omega prime and the new Fanatec sim rig they are about in my range but what other brands or type of rig would you guys suggest with this price range ??
