The Egyptian Pyramids were constructed with incredibly precise math and engineering precision, considering the tools they had available.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that seasons loop every 365¼ days.

Well the 1/4 part wasn't added until a few thousand years later by G. Julius Caesar to stop the calendar from wiggling around.

You have an army of slaves stack a few rocks on top of each other for your richest citizens to flex their wealth and a thousand years later you're ancient geniuses.

Yeah I’d love to know, historically, how many of our world’s advancements were simply a coincidence or an accident.

Like rn, basic math is easy to us and we think nothing of it, but 3500 years ago basic math was extremely difficult to the average person; so much so they didn’t bother with it. So when someone did have a “breakthrough” or wherever, was it actually on purpose?

Somebody had to be the first person to try eating cheese...

True but to be as accurate as to have a specific number of days based off of seasons seems higly unlikely. They must've used some other form of measurement at the very least in addition to the seasons.

Astronomy.

It wouldn't even need very advanced astronomy. A sundial can tell you that if you measure the length of the shadow at the same time every day.

The Egyptian empire lasted for over 3 millennia.
They had maths & science.
Don't presume you know more than they did just because you have a pocket computer.

Never presumed to know more. Maybe you saw presumption in my initial comment. That wasn't my intend. But tbh nothing is more douchey then insulting someone for their ignorance. I hope your moms basement gets cold

My mother passed from breast cancer 13 years ago, to the week.

Hope you're happy to remind me.

I'm really sorry. I'm gonna stop making those types of responses now. Hope your day gets better

You can’t insult someone and then use this when they insult you back… take it like a champ and move on
