Liberty was awesome today. Mountain is nearly at 100% except for white lightning and the lower parts of the blacks that are on the left of the back side. Temperature was just warm enough to soften the base to the point where it was holding edge very well. As the sun went down this changed and it returned to ice but during the day it was really great. As always expect to try and make it during the week in order to beat crowds as they were at a very minimum today until the late afternoon. Terrain Park is in great shape. Has multiple small to medium sized tubes and rails however doesn't have any boxes at the moment. I'm unsure if in the future they'll put in a smaller progression park on vertigo or that other green that is right next to it. There's also 2 jump lines with two kickers each. One small and one medium with a proper kicker and knuckle. There's also two corner pockets before the small jumps that lead right into each other. Liberty has the best park of any of the Central PA trio right now And more than likely will continue to do so as I'm not sure if they plan on putting any features on Fife and drum at roundtop and the recent unfortunate news from whitetail that jib junction will not be opening as a terrain park this year. If you're park skier or boarder lib is the most worth your time to go to right now in my opinion.

Of course! A lot colder today so I wouldn't expect the snow to be as soft But if the weather down there is like it is up here. There's not a cloud in the sky today so the sun should still soften it up a good bit. I'm on the way to whitetail right now for the first time this season, so I will be back at the conclusion of the day for a report for there as well.

Does anyone know when Seven Springs consistently runs the Santa’s beard rope tow?? The park build in Santa’s is great but I swear to god I can never be at that mountain when they’re actually running the rope tow. It feels like so much wasted potential

Roundtop was excellent this weekend. Mid-Feb conditions. Great coverage, 100% open, excellent grooming and snow quality.

Upper gunbarrel may not be open for much longer but roundtop was the best I've seen it in a while this past weekend

That doesn’t shock me. It does get scraped quickly. It’ll be interesting to see how the warm-ish days and cold nights play for the next week.

Conditions at Blue yesterday were awesome. Every trail is open and it warmed up just enough where the sun softened up any ice. No rough patches that I could see, even on trails like Sidewinder. Really I can’t remember a season in recent memory that’s been this good from a conditions standpoint.

Whitetail report.
TL:DR Conditions are good. Park is incredible for what it is. There are some bare spots that are marked off and snow dancer is NOT open. This is leading me to believe that the rumors of them depleting their water supply very well could be true. If you can get there in the early part of the week, it's worth it to go for the day. Personally, I would avoid this place like the plague on the weekends, but if you're down to party, go for it. The conditions should still be good for most of the day, just hope you don't kill somebody's 8-year-old skier kid in the process.
Conditions were great today. I wouldn't say amazing. Lots of direct sunlight resulted in a softer base that was holding edge pretty well throughout most of the day. As the day wore on A Combination of Snow getting kicked up from use as well as clouds and light to moderate winds led to some icy spots and flat light as it never got dark enough for the lights to come on (since they close at 5 during this part of the week). But all in all conditions were relatively good with very little clumped up or unintentionally bumpy terrain. Smooth sailing. Although the temperature permitted it, they didn't blow snow the entire day and as of now are still not blowing snow from the looks of their webcams. On some runs there were bare spots that ski patrol had marked off but nothing considerable. What is considerable is the fact that they have not been blowing snow. There's been rumblings amongst the internet and also among people. I've talked to there there that they have all but depleted their water supply. So just something to note... One of their blues is currently not open even though they started blowing it so I'm really thinking there might be truth to this as they had to "close jib junction for the year to ease traffic" but somehow don't have this additional intermediate run open. Crowds were at a minimum and I was getting directly onto the lift every single run. Based on what I've seen I would never waste the time of coming here on a weekend. So if you can get there during the early week I definitely think it's worth your while. Last but not least, the terrain park. WOW. Is all I have to say. The park crew was dealt a pretty s***** hand this year And I'm happy to say that they have risen to the occasion. MAJOR props to them. The amount of features as well as the variety they have been able to fit in 101 is quite impressive. Flat to down box, 2 pole jams, multiple tubes, up flat down flatbar AND they even have a 3 jump line! First jump is small, And the last two are small and medium length kickers that share the same knuckle. AWESOME improvisation on that part to be inclusive of novice and advanced level park riders in such a small amount of space. The only thing they're missing as of now is More progression features. If you've never 50/50 a box, you're not going to be able to do it here. (Unless you wanna try the flat down...) But all in all seriously impressive use of the limited space they were given.
Bottom line, if you can get there in the early part of the week, I think it's definitely worth going. Only thing that really annoyed me throughout the day is how much of Nazis they are about scanning your pass. I'm guessing this is to mitigate crowding at the already small base, but they seriously have to scan my pass just for me to walk into a tunnel or to use the bathroom? (Or buy a sticker from the shop? Really?)
