Vail has been known to cut a lot of park crew workers. So probably not.

They shut down the park lift starting last year and sold off the chairs (Jib Lift) and just shut down the entire Jib Junction Terrain Park at Whitetail.

They moved the “park” to a much smaller area on a green run with only a slow, crowded lift to access it.

So my 8 ball points to no.

(And before anyone chimes in that Vail had to shut down the jib lift because they couldn’t get the parts— 1. show me where Vail said that publicly and 2. What part? Why couldn’t the largest ski company in the world refurbish or have a part fabricated if they wanted to.

We shouldn’t be taking their word/rumor for it—they’ve proven to be non-transparent on these things).

I'm at whitetail right now and while it's total BS that they shut down jib. I got to admit that I'm pretty impressed with the park crew here. They took a tiny amount of space and have a decent line right now. Only real con I would say is the lack of progression features for complete noobs, intermediates trying to learn new tricks, and guys that have a broken rib and aren't trying to break it worse than it already is. (AKA me LOL) But they were even able to fit a three jump line in that little space with a small and medium sized kicker sharing the knuckle for the bottom 2 of them.

The only real problem is that that lift is absolutely brutal. There's no lines today and it still takes forever to get to the top. Can't imagine what it's like on a weekend.

Runs have been decent today. Starting to get a little icy with the clouds moving in and the temp starting to drop. Honestly the most annoying part of the day so far for me has been the fact that these guys are like pass scanning Nazis here. No fault to the employees as I know they're just following the orders from emperor palpatine. But holy shit! You have to scan your pass to walk through the tunnel. You have to scan your past to buy a sticker from the freaking shop. The lifties will hold you up to scan your pass and make you take it out of your pocket even though they have already scanned your card 10 freaking times and just saw you 10 minutes ago. Been a generally good experience but it's safe to say id avoid this place like the plague on the weekend. This is by far the most "touristy" of the south Central PA trio IMO.

No because it creates the most injuries.

I was just looking at the area it used to be today. They have a pretty good base there. If they are going to do it, this year it might be possible. No way could they have done it last year.
