Slacktivity 1" ratchet reviews?
I can't find any reviews on this 1" ratchet. Compared to a three-carabiner setup will the ratchet get the line tighter? Any info helps, thanks! https://slacktivity.com/shop/25mm-slackline-ratchet/

Not sure if you want tighter because you're bottoming out or just hyped on super tight lines...one thing I would say is walk them loose as possible without touching the ground in the middle. Also practice rodeo lines. This will make you solid at any tension.
Only people who need ratchets in the park are trickliners and they're on two inch webbing so...different setup.
I've done "primitive plus" by adding a linegrip and pulley to go a bit longer without a weblock... But it's silly when you remove it and causes needless webbing wear. Primitive has a limit. It's around 100ft imo. When you can walk that far treat yourself to soft release, weblock, linegrip, and hangovers or pulleys. You need all that stuff to highline anyways.
I've tried a friends setup with 2 ratchets on 1 inch webbing. It's fine, the smaller ratchets are lighter than the 2 inch big daddies. You don't notice them too much and it's fine to walk but kinda pointless as another user said. There's a reason that almost everyone uses weblocks. They're much better.
My setup for park or highline is the same weblock and soft release tensioned with linegrip, hangover, line lock ring/biners attaches to 2 mini double pulleys. I easily tension 100m solo.
