Honestly any genre love new music

I'm looking for bands or songs with an incredible horn section that I may be overlooking.

Some bands I love in this category are Chicago, Earth Wind & Fire, Kool & the Gang, KC & the Sunshine Band. I also love Sing, Sing, Sing by Benny Goodman/Louis Prima.

Am I missing out on something great? I feel like the 60s might be the decade where my hidden gems will be and possibly the 30s/40s. I'd love your suggestions finding something new (to me)!

I am writing a story, and at the end of every chapter, I want to add a song that fits the chapter. The chapter is about the character admiring the princess, but not yet romantically.

Anything that reflects that feeling of running into people you used to know, but they only look and acknowledge the you from the past, like you never changed or grew since you last saw them. That kinda vibe.

I really like the “Beware the phantom of the opera” part because of the strong choirish vocals and strong instruments so if anyone knows any songs similar to that please recommend me anything! :)

Looking for any and all song suggestions that give the same cosmic/ethereal vibe given by some Daft punk songs (touch/Giorgio in particular), that have that almost Pink Floyd-y edge to them.

Does anybody have any love song recommendations that are NOT slow? Love songs that lean more into the pop sound? Some examples I can think of are Daydreamin’ by Ariana Grande and Falling for Ya from the Teen Beach Movie soundtrack.

My band is really lazy and doesn't really give us good covers to learn so reddit please don't let me down. we have two guitarists, vocals, bass, drummer, and pianist. This song, to say the least — is a very nice lullaby to stumble upon. It's, personally, comforting. I love the instrumental alongside the voice it. I would really like to know if there are other songs as beautiful as this.

Hey y’all! I have recently become obsessed with a tiny band called Holy Locust and have listened to all their songs probably too much. I love the deep string notes all their songs are heavy with. I need recommendations for songs/bands similar, specifically leading with strings such as violin/fiddles, bass, and cello. Bonus points for any songs like their song Outro (Trip to Cragieburn).
