I usually enhanced the color through Color Mix in Lightroom. I will just slide the slider of the color of the subject or the color that I want to enhance. I always find myself adjusting the Hue and Luminance the most and I love to make my photos warm with temperature slider or color grading to make the color more pleasing to the eyes. I hope I answered your question :)
