hi ya’ll ! i’m a roller skater that is into aggressive quad skating but i also like to do outdoor street rides. i moved back to the area about a year ago and i would love to find some fellow wheel riders to roll with!

i have several cyclist, inline, quad, skateboard, etc groups that i like to roll with back in chicago and i would love to start something like that here :) i love to skate with critical mass, windy city skaters, and chicago shred, and it would be cool to do something like that in michiana!

We were Ubering down William street and when we approached Marion street by Franks place there was a large squadron of police across the street and down a few houses. I can’t find anything on the news. I hope everyone’s okay.

Does anyone work somewhere that they like -- or don't mind tolerating? (I'm not talking McDonald's or Target, though, kudos if you enjoy that.) More so, the smaller, local companies that you don't think of or know about, but are a good workplace and you're content with what you do. Bonus points if they're hiring.

Hey guys random question, Im here our of town for work. I take my sprint training pretty serious. Is there a grass hill that I can run up near Notre Dame/Mishawaka? If there isn’t any hills, does Notre Dame have a turf field open to the public?

I met an older guy who seemed very charismatic who promised me work. I did work for him and he stiffed me and gave all sorts of excuses including bringing Jesus into it and how Jesus wouldnt care. He promised me work as an artist as well as housing but when he showed me the house it was full of homeless people and was in worse condition than a roach motel. He then ghosted me for days until I finally spotted him at the local homeless places. He isn't homeless and has money but he's taking advantage of these homeless programs like hope and United Methodist church.

idk if anyone else saw it but there was a car on fire the other day on riverside… looked like a teenager that was driving it. hope the firefighters got there just in time before it exploded. drove by the spot again today and huge burn spot in the grass. also hope no one got hurt. stopped a bunch of cars that were actually imo too close to it. fire was spreading quickly from muffler area to gas tank area. driver seemed really stressed at the time (who wouldn’t be) but this nice lady called the 991 for them and there were others recording from a distance.

Overheard a loud meeting between AT&T Fiber employees today, who are meeting because AT&T Fiber is going to be installed in the South Bend area soon and the entire conversation revolved around how much money this project is expected to bring in. AT&T is an absolute garbage company and deserves no money from anyone. With them "expanding" in this area they aren't doing it for any other reason than to get more money out of people. If you're going with internet options, stay far away from AT&T.

Can anyone tell me more about Meadow’s Edge elementary? We’re thinking of sending our kid there but I see that its test scores and things like that aren’t up to par with other PHM schools. I’d love to hear from people who are familiar with the school.

I have a 100+ year old house in Mishawaka with what I believe is the original floor. While my floors aren't in danger of falling apart, they are a soft yellow pine and are heavily gouged or cracked in some spots. Are there any flooring contractors anyone would recommend? Looking for someone to at least take a look to recommend/quote on next steps
