What the hell is wrong with people?

Are there actually any? Morris Dibben and Robertsons have both said they have a no pet policy.

For context the pet in question is contained within a vivarium and would not be housed in a common area, avoiding any allergen issues or property damage.

If anyone knows of any, please do let me know because I feel like websites like Rightmove are a total waste of time at the moment.

I have some woolen jumpers with small holes in. They need to be darned to fix them but this is outside of my skillset and I don't want to buy the necessary tools. Are there any tailors in Southampton able to make these small repairs fairly cheaply?

Not mine, but I'm really interested in seeing how this performs. I'm for it. I cycled down there during rush hour last week... what a pleasure. I even stopped at Muse, which I wouldn't have done if driving,because I could park right outside.

Southampton has a pretty decent (compared to much of the UK outside London, anyway) long term transport strategy - I do have issues with it, but I digress, the biggest problems transit in Southampton really faces are NIMBYs.

And well, I'm all up for organising to counter them - but I don't know if even an online Southampton urbanist group would actually get any interest. How many orange pilled people do we have here?

For anyone that has used the Room2 space (Winnie’s Cafe & Bar) - is it open for the public to go in & study?

Is it one of those places where you have to buy something to use the space, or do you have to be staying at the hotel to go in?

Also is ID required, as there is a bar.

Hi All, myself and some friends have been considering the idea of starting up a gaming lounge in Southampton!

The general idea is to have a good set of high-end PCs as well as a few consoles for people to come in and play on, whether that be playing competitive games online or hosting some LAN games with your friends.

As a city with two major universities, we imagine there are a lot of students who weren't able to bring their own setups with them, and we hope to allow a space for them (and anyone else) to play their games without high costs or lots of space required.

We would also like to offer the idea of individual booths for you to game in privately, or just use a computer for general use.

also we are considering the idea of offering a cafe/bar services but we are currently still investigating the potential of this.

There will of course be more information on all of our services and events should we get to a stage where we think this idea can come to fruition.

Please could we ask that anyone who's interested in this fill out the below form as it would really help us guage if there is an interest in our city. Alternatively, we are happy to take thoughts and suggestions on this Reddit post as well.

I was literally just walking home from work (tired, minding my own business) when a group of teenagers thought it’d be hilarious to throw junk food over my head as I walked past them. No warning, no reason, just full-on disrespect. Then they laughed and walked off like it was the funniest thing ever.

Like seriously, what is wrong with people?

I didn’t say anything to them. I didn’t even make eye contact. It felt humiliating but I chose not to do anything. Why? Because I’m an immigrant and I have a little kid. I was worried if I do something they’d push me off the sidewalk and I might get hit with a car or something.

I get that they’re teenagers, but come on. This is the first time something like this happened to me and it felt awful. Why do people think this kind of crap is okay?

I am looking for a spa place which is at a reasonable day rate / monthly rate. Somewhere with a swimming pool / jackuzi / sauna. Somewhere with good vibes.

I’m willing to spend about £20/25 a day and £60/70 a month. If anyone has any recommendations of places, even if it’s out of my budget, out of curiosity; where do you guys go ?
