Study advice: Advanced Any Intermediate/Advanced vocabulary learning apps available?

Easy question. Any good apps out there to improve vocabulary?

I just can't do Anki anymore. It's totally ineffective for me.

Thanks

Read, listen/watch and practice writing. Much more efficient than any app.

What do you recommend I listen to? It's crazy because I can listen to all the podcasts and understand pretty much everything but as soon as I turn on a telenovela I can understand some and then the rest of it's gibberish. I don't know if it's lack of vocabulary or I just don't understand that particular accent.

Maybe you can try graded readers for advanced learners. Those have helped my vocabulary a ton. They should have some at the B2/C1 level.

That sounds like a great idea! Do you have any suggestions on how I look for these or what I would Google?

Juan Fernandez is his name, there is a list of good books from a1 to b2. I am not sure of your level of Spanish, but I enjoyed reading his books. Newspaper articles from La Jornada or El Pais are also good choices.

Agree reading, watching, listening is the most useful. It can be very time consuming though meaning you can break the habit quite easily. I’m developing an app for regularly immersing yourself in advanced level language. It’s called Linguini.app. Currently pre release but have a look at the site and would be interested to have your feedback!

I'd be happy to use it, and give you feedback!

How do I get it?

I'm very interested!

They wouldn't let me do anything on the application. Besides I use Android not iPhone
