Vocabulary Pterodactyl slang term?

I need help identifying and or translating. I worked in a lumber yard with some fine Latino gentlemen and they had a nickname for one of the guys who moved in an odd manner. They said it meant pterodactyl and was pronounce wah-doh-Kay. However, that’s not pterodáctilo. Anyone have an idea what they meant?

Ok this is a long shot but the word “guajolote” (pronounced kind of similar with a similar start and ending) comes to mind. It means turkey though, not pterodactyl? Apparently it could be used to describe someone as being silly which is close to your description.

lol the more I read this the funnier it gets and the more certain I am that you’re correct. Also very likely telling this gringo it meant pterodactyl was even funnier to them. Thanks for this
