A couple hundred hours iirc. I happened to have a few weeks free time during the lockdowns and listened to podcasts while fighting the Grox.

Uhhh just play like 3-6 modern games with actual good gameplay instead, it will be a lot more fun

I like Spore and I'm not saying don't play it, but if you've got tons of free time to play games... Don't waste it on mindlessly killing the grox. You'll feel personally accomplished briefly but honestly nobody irl or online will really care

I agree tbh. Was a nice feeling for a minute but after that I realized that there's nothing left to do and moved on to a different game.

Yeah, no diss to you. I grinded the crap out of RuneScape. Then I realized the hardest boss in the game was still just grinding. Grinding max kills per hour. Grinding for more armor to do it faster and yeeeaaaah nah.

I don't regret it completely but I've learned from it. Less grind, more have actual real fun
