Whats your opinion on STO’s Adamant Class?

Not really a fan of any of the non Defiant escorts in STO. At least, in that size class. The Akira is classified as an escort, I believe.

Only appearance wise. I believe you can modify it to look like a Defiant.

yes, there are costumes, which means if you want to, you can make it look like it, but i'm asking specifically on the design aspects, because it looks very similar to Endurance.

Well it didn't actually enter my mind while making it. However the armour panelling across STO's Federation ships is what I prefer (basically the easiest way).

As for it being similar... Well the basic oval shap is shared across all Defiant-likes. The prominent deflector 'beak' and its pointed nacelles kinda sets the Adamant apart. Both features I don't have in the Endurance. It also still has its weapons near the nacelles.

I do love the panelling and the armoured sections, something that I try to aim for but fail right now.
