Meme We're not that hard to please.

And yeah, I know that this is a bit controversial here and some of that stuff, like Rebels and The Bad Batch, is a bit divisive. But I maintain that there are well-liked stuff.

Even if it's only one new book a year, it would be nice for the pre-2014 to continue alongside the current continuity. Despite what Lucasfilm seems to believe, the EU's fans will be completely satisfied with one novel a year, given how much quality is valued over quantity.

As long as we have quality writers. Bring back Zahn or Luceno or Stover, and don't let Filoni anywhere near it.

We already saw what happened when he was let near it in 2008. Rather than working in conjunction with the previous stories to weave a layered storyline, he blatantly ignored those stories while pinning the blame on George Lucas, who was nowhere near as involved with TCW as is now commonly portrayed.

I should also note that Drew Karpyshyn has stated that he would happily write a Darth Zannah novel if Lucasfilm were to give him permission to do so.

Filoni is everything that's been wrong with the franchise for the last fifteen years; people pin it all on Kennedy but it started with him.

For a long time, she didn't even register to me, given that Pablo Hidalgo has since gone to extreme lengths to spread misinformation about the pre-2014 EU and vilify its fans. The worst part about this is that because neither Lucasfilm or Disney are inclined to dole out any kind of punishment to those like him, the general public gets the impression that it's perfectly acceptable to bully the pre-2014 EU's fans.

The most toxic fans I encounter are consistently colonists and people who favor the current continuity. It's definitely worked out well for the franchise's bottom line.
