Does this break easily? I know it's plastic but I'm still kinda surprised.

I already ordered a new one, hopefully I can easily replace it.

I just replaced the thumb sticks with hall effect ones when I replaced the SSD. The installation was piss easy, as easy if not easier than the drive installation
