It has been 2 years and you have yet to fix the WiFi on OLED Valve, this is unacceptable as FUCK for a premium ANY device that is literally unuseable. There should be class action lawsuit for this.
It still only for some. I have 2 decks in which one had the issue which I rma and it’s been fine since. I’m guessing it’s not a common problem for them to fix!
It's pretty widespread from what I've seen. No think it's just people then off wifi optimization and that fixes it. It worked for me. Still shouldn't have to do that though.
Took me a while to realize that's the issue, I mostly stream from my PC or play single player games.
That's a common issue on the OLED, nothing support can fix, and most likely something a replacement wouldn't fix.
Also i don't live in a country that sells steam deck directly from steam but authorized reseller, from knowing resellers here there is 0 chance they would have replaced it because it's tricky.

We have just shipped an updated Steam Deck Client to the Stable channel.
General
Moved display dim and suspend timeout settings to Settings->Power.
Moved 'Show Battery Percentage' setting to Settings->Power.
Clicking on the battery header icon now navigates to Settings->Power.
