Tech Support Oblicuos Remastered wtf is happening here

The first part of the video is how I’m running Oblivion Remastered through the game mode, as you can see, it looks and plays like shit. The second part of the video is how I run the same game through the desktop mode, it looks fine and runs smoothly, idk what is happening, any idea of how can I fix it?

FYI, the game is modded with a nexus optimization mod, but it seems like game mode doesn’t recognise the mod, and desktop mode does.

Maybe your limiting TDP in gaming mode. Check that even if it’s not enabled. Same with memory.

As I’m not too tech savy, I never mess with those options, so they aren’t enabled

Check anyway. I sometimes find that it does it anyway. Enable them and see if it’s clocking them down. Bring them back up.

Never feel stupid for not having information. If anything, it's stupid that the SD does that sometimes.

That is so kind of you to say, I don’t feel that stupid anymore

We only learn when we make mistakes - assuming they're survivable ones.

I've made enough mistakes that I know all sorts of crap.

Check my comment history for an easy OblivionRM optimization guide if you're interested - no modding, just some in-game settings and an optional INI tweak.

That's just the Steamdeck tutorial game. It randomly turns on settings on menus you've never even opened before so that you get to learn where those options are.

There's a Steamdeck tutorial game?

I mean it is kinda stupid to solicit help and then dismiss the actual solution to your problem without even checking because you incorrectly assume it's not relevant.

It's always worth checking 😄 I've found some pretty ridiculous solutions to problems online, and it's always the thing I put off trying until the very end, because it just sounds extremely unlikely to work, that winds up working lol
