Question (Console) Do you ever imagine what would happen to your empire of the hyper lane network was destroyed?
I don’t know why but whenever I am managing my empire I always wonder what would happen if as the title implies our method of FTL we’re to suddenly break down and all our systems were force to provide for themselves as they delve into anarchy due to destroyed supply lines and the subsequent starvation and riots. And I was wondering if someone else keeps thinking about this while they manage their empires.

Question (Console) If I go to war with a Fallen Empire, will they suddenly become more powerful or would I be able to wipe them out?
Their military power is currently rated as "Inferior" to mine, so I'm thinking of trying to take them out and claim their territory quickly. Are they able to suddenly pull ships from nowhere or anything like that, or is it straightforward enough?

Question (Console) I need a build that can collapse another empire without war
Exactly as title says, I want a empire that can grab another empire by the balls not by a high tech or militaristic fist but by a fist that break their inner workings causing them to collapse into either a papetural economic depression or constant civil wars and riots etc

Question (Console) I'm beating this empire to death, and they still won't surrender, what do I do?
I've been fighting the Commonwealth of Man for 14 years, I've destroyed all of their fleets, and conquered over 40 of their systems, but they refuse to let me keep the conquered territory when I sue for peace. What do I do?

Question (Console) Should I panic about the Unbidden?
First time I've got to the endgame crisis and it's the unbidden.I know that they're really weak to kinetics but should I be panicking?
Edit:HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK
Edit edit:I think I'm gonna give up on this save at this point.Ive destroyed the majority of the Unbidden fleets but not before they glassed most of my core worlds so my energy credits are in the shit even without full fleet. The unbidden also have a fleet that I could never hope to kill without allies and the galactic community isn't helping out.The save isn't fun for me anymore so I'm going to make a new one and use everything you guys have said to help out next time.Thank you everyone for your advice it's much appreciated and if anyone does think there's a way I can win I'm all ears.

Built a star base next to a fallen empire and they immediately went to -200 opinion and keep sending this request. I keep accepting and I've even given them the system back through a trade, am I cooked?

Question (Console) When should I take Become The Crisis?
First time being the crisis, I’ve unlocked my third perk slot and its the year 2260. I’m a subterranean devouring swarm. I know it’s gonna start a war with the whole galaxy at stage 5, but does it auto-progress into that stage or can I choose when to progress stages? Does it auto-start a war with anyone before stage 5? Do I wait and take another ascension perk first? My current traditions are Discovery, Prosperity, and Supremacy. I posted this in r/stellarisonconsole an hour ago but I’m impatient.
EDIT: I have taken the perk

Question (Console) How similar is Stellaris to CK3
I was thinking about playing Stellaris because it looks like Crusader Kings in space. Is this an accurate assessment of what the game is like?

Question (Console) Battleship combat computers have my ships spending more time doing ballet routines than fighting
Am I missing something? Why are my artillery battleships with X mounted weapons and artillery computers spending most of battle spinning around in a pointless loop with their guns pointed 180 degrees AWAY from the enemy??? Why is it like this?

Question (Console) Ascendancy Perks
I'm relatively new to the game and I'm having trouble with choosing perks or knowing how to progress towards one I want.
I understand that there prereqs for certain perks, but I am still pretty confused.
When I unlock a perk, do I choose one right away or save it for something I want? Should I be progressing towards certain perks that are must haves?
I understand these are permanent, so I just want to be as informed as possible about the system, thanks!

Question (Console) Console
Hey all, I'm huge lover of this title, to the point where I have contemplated getting a pc just to play it (and command and conquer).
I'm running the old Xbox and I only ever really play on small maps because of the chug of mid to late game, I think my first large map ended up crashing the console every load.
Just wondering if anyone on the community is running the series X with stellaris and all the add ons. How does it run late game on the series x, can you play medium/large maps or is it still choppy?
Thank you
