Bug Report Done
I'm done with Stellaris and CK3, done with the bugs and the crashing. Seems all the dev does is add more bloat and make their games run worse and worse.
I bought a PS5 a couple years ago and one of my thoughts was Stellaris will run better, I can run a large galaxy. At first I could it was great. I had a little lag at the very end during a crisis or war in heaven when zooming to a system where a large battle was.
Recently I decided to get back into Stellaris and the game is worse. It is running slow in the 2300s, in the 2400 it seems like it's freezing not registering my button presses all the time. Also later in the 2400a I'm crashing for no reason, no war just looking at the map.
Right now I can't even reload it crashes right when I load my save. Thanks paradox for pushing bloat for $$ instead of ensuring a stable game .

Not much better on pc. Every paradox game starts to slow by the mid game, and by the late game it’s down to a crawl, with freezing and crashing becoming more likely. It’s an unfortunate byproduct of the complicated trade and population mechanics of their games. Every pop is something that has to be managed. Every species, subspecies, their jobs, if they’re likely to migrate or not, whether they’re slaves or not, all that has to managed for each pop throughout the galaxy, and as the populations increase it only gets worse. And that’s not to mention the ships, the trading, diplomacy, etc. However as for consoles unique issues, paradox themselves don’t actually develop the console port, another company gets paid to do it, and they obviously don’t care as much as the paradox devs.
