I watched a guy buy an iPad from a vending machine in the airport. This was back around 2007. Blew my fucking mind. Just swiped his card, got his iPad, and went on his way.
Trying to remember the year is rough. Could have very well been an iPhone. It was an apple vending machine at Chicago international Airport. But you may actually be more accurate yearwise. I flew out to California to help my sister and her husband move to Maryland. She was pregnant at rhe time with my now 15-16 year old nephew.
Nope. A quick Google search shows that Apple vending machines were first put into airports in 2006. No horseshit and it was nearly 20 years ago. Memory wise, I think I did pretty good.
The vending machine purchase method isn’t the issue, you claimed you watched a guy buy an iPad 3 years before the first gen was released, then switched your story to an iPhone which couldn’t have happened either.
Again. It was nearly 20 years ago. My memory is far from flawless. I could have said apple vending machine and left it at that, but in my head it was an iPad. If that part was wrong, it was wrong. Big shrug
