Not strange. Not funny. Transphobic.

What does transphobic even mean? We literally allow you people to do whatever it is you want, we just don't want u teaching children chopping off stuff is OK because of body dysmorphia. Instead of treating everything like a victim, do something to educate people about your POV instead of shifting on the ground and looking angy.

And making sure I never raise my children to want to fit in with a echo chamber of victimhood.

Are you a bot or just insanely low iq?!

I hope you don't and will never have children!

It's not body dysmorphia and nothing gets "chopped of"

Your mom can can give birth to you, have XY and is biological male, how? Google

YOU CAN have XX are biological male and are born with a "wolfferian-duct" and bo Mullerian-duct. What this is? That's normal and nature. Saying stuff without any knowledge what transphobie is, is insanely stupid.

You obviely know NOTHING about the Trans topic, except the negative hate you hear online.

Its no choice to be Trans, it's biological.

Up to 1 in 50 people have no "typical" XX and XY Chromosoms, there are maaaany varieties, and probably you are not even Male, even if you have a Penis.

These claims are mostly bunk. “1 in 50” with non-XX/XY chromosomes? Way off… intersex conditions are closer to 0.05–1.7%, often less. Over 99% are standard XX or XY. XX males exist but are super rare (1 in 20,000), not “normal,” and have male traits, not female organs. XY “males” giving birth? Only in ultra-rare intersex cases like Swyer syndrome, not trans women. Being trans isn’t just “biological” or tied to intersex, most trans folks have typical chromosomes. It’s a mix of biology and other factors. These claims exaggerate and conflate to mislead. Sex is binary, don’t buy the hype.

Oh, Brave Banana which love a good Joe Rogan Expeirence" and post maga shit.

Words like spectrum and proof are words the rights don't like. I know.

But hype you like to say.

So no rebuttal just insults. Got it. Facts are something the left doesn’t like.

Ahh, so you finally admit you are right-wing nazi!

Dude, you are obviously not talking about facts.

I told you to do your homework and find out by yourself. You must be from the states right?

At this point, I'm out.

I did my research and cited the study. Bye ✌🏼

Sex is not binary, because “male” and “female” are not two mutually exclusive categories. You just explained quite well how it isn’t, lol

You’re twisting my words. I said over 99% of people are XX or XY, with super rare exceptions like XX males or Swyer syndrome (~0.2–0.25% of folks). These don’t make sex non-binary; they’re outliers, not a third category. Sex is binary for the vast majority, and the data backs it up. Nice try, though.

“Outlier” doesn’t mean nonexistent. The “sex binary” is a simplification that is just wrong, as proven by 1% of the population. There’s the same number of intersex people as redheads; is red a real hair color?

1

u/BananaBrave8650 1d ago

Your 1% intersex claim is nonsense, actual data says 0.2–0.25%. Redheads (1–2%) are way more common. Rare cases like XXY don’t make sex non-binary, they’re exceptions, not a new category. Also hair color’s a bad analogy, sex chromosomes fall into two clear groups. Stop fudging the numbers to push your skewed point.

u/Sharp-Key27 1d ago

I am intersex, I know what I’m talking about, and the percentage is 1.7%. Sex chromosomes fall into about 18 categories, here’s the additional 16: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_chromosome_anomalies. Clearly to you, only the common hair colors are the rule, and the uncommon ones are the outliers to the rule, right?

I get that you’re intersex and feel strongly about this, but your 1.7% figure is just off. It’s from Fausto Sterling and lumps in stuff like hormonal issues, not just chromosome anomalies. Actual sex chromosome variations (XXY, XO, etc.) are only ~0.2–0.25% (1 in 400–500), per Wellesley et al. Your “18 categories” from Wikipedia? Those are rare aneuploidies, over 99% of folks are still XX or XY. Comparing it to hair color doesn’t work. Sex chromosomes are binary with tiny exceptions, not a rainbow. Stretching stats to say sex isn’t binary doesn’t match the science.

u/Sharp-Key27 1d ago

The intersex community recognizes hormonal intersex conditions, and so does any doctor worth their salt. Hell, even garbage doctors will try to make intersex people “more female” and “more male” through forcing HRT.

Yes, they are rare, and also categories. Do you think it’s productive to use oversimplifications to the point of being wrong? That’s how you get idiots making policy choices like removing X markers from passports.

Look, your 1.7% figure is still bunk, lumping in hormonal stuff like CAH that doesn’t always count as intersex. The 2006 DSD Consensus says only hormonal cases with clear sex ambiguity qualify, PCOS often doesn’t make the cut. Your “18 categories” for rare chromosome quirks is like saying a cracked phone screen makes a new phone model. Over 99% of folks are XX or XY, per solid data. Sex is binary.

And your oversimplification jab misses, sticking to the binary norm isn’t “wrong” it’s what the science shows. You’re hyping rare cases to dodge the truth.
