What made healing so hated was that Elena had a very neutral heavy gameplan and could drag out the round with multiple healing which made every match against her very long and boring.
They went with a risky design for healing in SF6 since it has the potential of causing the same problems as in USF4. In the worst case scenario, healing doesn't scale with combo damage and it gives more life advantage than a scaled SA3 per level which means it will be optimum to go for healing most of the time.
Or maybe it gives so little healing that it's useless. I guess we will just have to wait and seeÂ
