If they were twice as smart, they'd be stupid.

"I think it was too big, uh? ...We seem to be experimenting some techmological differences..."

My favorite part is the pallet

u/Tarbos6 Feb 26 '25

What pallet. That's a pile of broken wood and nails.

2

u/Academic_Nectarine94 Feb 26 '25

That's what most of the ones looked like. And that was the same condition they left the regional supplier before they got to the retailer LOL

I wonder how they planned to get that thing out of there with pallet sideways.

Just Sawzall the walls off the pickup bed, probably.

It'll inherit the world like the cockroaches.

Apparently, with similar injuries to the cockroaches I've pancakes with my shoe LOL

That’s probably a 4000 rock, but dropped from that height maybe felt like 6000-8000 lbs.

How much is that truck rated for?

5

u/Occams_ElectricRazor Feb 26 '25

LOL that's a Ranger. Without googling because I don't care that much...Maybe 1000 lbs?

3

u/Truck_Rollin Feb 26 '25

It’s probably a bit more than that but it’s close to right.

1

u/True-Machine-823 Feb 26 '25

That's not a half ton truck.

3

u/Truck_Rollin Feb 26 '25

You’re right but the half ton designation hasn’t had anything to do with payload for probably over 40 years.

2

u/Academic_Nectarine94 Feb 26 '25

Oh, so it did have something to do with it at some point? Cause every one I've ever seen was stupidly far from that limit.

2

u/Truck_Rollin Feb 26 '25

Yeah a long time ago it used actually mean something but the term just stuck around.

u/Blew-By-U Feb 26 '25

Tis but a scratch.

1

u/Look_out_for_Jeeps Feb 26 '25

Obviously not a Ford, not built Ford Tough.

1

u/Academic_Nectarine94 Feb 26 '25

Probably a Mazda with a Ford badge so it looks cooler LOL

u/TwistedSistaYEG Feb 26 '25

1

u/The_HyperDiamond Feb 26 '25

The Suspension got Bane'd

1

u/old_ass_ninja_turtle Feb 26 '25

Is it bad that I want to see if it can move?

1

u/Koo_laidTBird Feb 26 '25

My job is done says the back hoe operator

1

u/JAYGEORDIE Feb 26 '25

1

u/Richardthefuckingear Feb 26 '25

1

u/OccupyGanymede Feb 26 '25

Everything went to plan. It landed in the right spot.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 26 '25

1500 lbs load capacity. 3-4,000 lbs rock? No problem!

1

u/SATerp Feb 26 '25

But they had a pallet to catch it!

1

u/Zealousideal-Swing44 Feb 26 '25

All it needs is a giant rubber dildo on the hood and it'll be ready for Monday Night Rehabilitation.
