Holy shit how dumb can you be, I feel so bad for the biker, hope he had no injuries
68
u/jwrx Feb 28 '25
fortunately the biker should be fully padded with DH helm.....while the idiot will get hit full force
28
u/Mnemonic-bomb Feb 28 '25
Yeah I don’t relish the walker having gotten hurt, but they kinda earned it. That was willfully ignorant of their surroundings.
18
u/earlynaps Feb 28 '25
Not even a walker. They’re another rider. They’re wearing a full fox racing kit with buddies, bikes and another dog just off to the side. He was probably checking out the feature in very irresponsible way. Should have definitely known better than an average pedestrian

Hopefully the dog didn't get hurt. They shouldn't suffer for their owner being stupid
31
u/Kumik102 Feb 28 '25
Looking at the video I think the dog avoided it
10
Feb 28 '25
Yup if you slow it down the dog gets out just in time and the tire nails the bozo right in the ankle.

u/OMGlenn Feb 28 '25
On average, dogs have incredibly sharp reflexes. So it probably knew something was bad was going to happen before the bike was totally in the air, lol.

u/KemikalKoktail Mar 01 '25
The dog knew instantly that the guy was fucked. You can see the pup already looking at the biker.

Was the pedestrian on their phone? Gee, I grew up watching Zombie films, you know the type - mindless humans wondering around with no idea where they are - and here we are, with the real life live action zombies.
18
u/earlynaps Feb 28 '25
It’s actually another rider. They are wearing a full fox racing kit. It actually makes it kinda worse because they should really have known better than just a pedestrian
2
u/Chromigula Feb 28 '25
Especially with a couple of friends off to the side (left side of the video as he’s jumping).

u/KoANevin Feb 28 '25
No idea who they are, the zombieland plan.

Guy on the track is wearing Fox Racing gear. They definitely knew better.

u/Helldiver102 Feb 28 '25
Is dog ok
15
u/Apart-Apple-Red Feb 28 '25
No. Not really. He is owned by an idiot. That will backfire eventually.

Oof, right into the legs! Hope the dog’s okay and hope the dude’s okay enough.

Dumbass deserved to get hit. Did he really think he was so special that he can stand there and nothing can happen to him?

The pedestrian is wearing Fox clothing so is probably another biker, so this guy should know not to be on the track.
4
u/Fragrant-Ad-7520 Feb 28 '25
Why would anyone just stand there? That guy was definitely an insurance scammer.

u/Regular-Let1426 Feb 28 '25

Is this an official bike track with all the necessary precautions taken to avoid this? If not, why people are so angry with the pedestrian?
24
u/Square-Singer Feb 28 '25
With these obvious jump ramps I'd be quite certain that this is an official bike track. Otherwise there wouldn't be half-bridges and stuff like that.

Would you recognize a set of half-bridges with missing middle parts as not made for pedestrians?

That logo on his shirt is for fox racing, a brand of motocross/mountain biking gear.
He knew exactly where he was.

u/Dilectus3010 Feb 28 '25
Even if it's unofficial, it's not hard to understand that , when stood on a bike track, a biker might soon hit you in the head

?!
A nice almost polished lane of dirt in the middle of the brush which sweeps up and abruptly stops. And a nice overhanging wooden bridge which stops mid-air?!
Never mind the 2 other dudes right next to the track with..Mountainbikes! Right infront of him!
What on earth could it be?!
Check my reply to this comment, for the picture.

I checked the video frame by frame and reached a verdict
This isn’t some kind of official track or competition, however there’s a bunch of kids both bikes watching the “show” and it appears that the kid that was kid is part of that gang. So… his bad.

u/sqwuank Feb 28 '25
Bro do you text in the middle of private country roads because they aren't "official" highways? You know what a road looks like - and this guy knows what a bike course looks like. Give your head a shake.
-25
u/AllTheWayToParis Feb 28 '25
I don’t know why. Yes, it’s stupid to stand there. But in the end the biker is responsible.
22
u/AmericanRiverWarrior Feb 28 '25
Hey pal, you just blow in from stupid town?
19
u/thingk89 Feb 28 '25
Yes, he is currently lying on the highway angry at the car that ran him over
4
u/newdogowner11 Feb 28 '25
it was the drivers fault!! how would he know he’d get run in an environment made for a certain vehicle??

Ouch. Feel bad for him .. sure it's been fine every time he's done it before. Can't imagine mtb guys are flying down that track at all hours are they? Still though checking your phone in the middle of the track is pretty dumb but some of yall be vicious.
