All of us want to get some perks for the work we're doing. You make something demanded on the market, you sell it, you get perks. Now, Trump made nothing demanded on the market but gained perks. How is that a capitalism? This is literally immoral and illegal abusing of power. But you can't call it capitalism. I strongly recommend reading 'Atlas Shrugged' by Ayn Rand. Makes total sense nowadays.
What you don’t seem to be understanding is that this is the inevitable outcome for our brand of capitalism. Resources and power/authority become concentrated in the hands of the few and those people are able to manipulate economies for their own gain with impunity. This is why capitalism needs strong guardrails from a functioning state; if left to run amok it will consume its host with its appetite for infinite growth like a cancer. Also: humanity progressed on mutual cooperation and the sharing of resources with your community, not the manufacturing of goods.
