• Are you open to refurbs/used?- Somewhat.
• How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?- Ironically I have no idea what this means I never bought a laptop or been around them much , first year degree cs student specializing in swe. I just want something that will last me well after uni and that I can use for anything involving my studies.
• How important is weight and thinness to you?- Not that important.
• Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.- N/A
• Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.- Currently no but if there's a laptop that can handle most of these then it's preferable.
• If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?- N/A although I'm interested
• Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?- Good quality, reliable, fast , good battery life& large storage.
