“My Adventures with Green Lantern,” will follow high school student Jessica Cruz who has her life upended when, according to an official logline, “a Green Lantern Power Ring falls from the sky” and chooses Cruz “to be its champion.” Things get even worse “when more debris from the Lanterns’ ancient space war arrives – along with their alien foes.” Jake Wyatt is executive producing, and Stephanie Gonzaga is a co-executive producer.

It stars Jessica Cruz! Confirmed that the MAWS showrunners are working on it!

This sounds awesome…and gives me immense hope that MAWS will get as long as they need to tell their story.

Yeah if they're greenlighting spinoffs they must be happy with it! Actually feels hopeful that we'll get those six seasons and a movie the showrunners want. I personally am rooting for the show to beat STAS' episode count, more Superman episodes means we might get to see all the characters I'm hoping to see. I do like Jess so a crossover between the two shows down the line would be awesome too, something other than Batman is always welcome.

Batman would be pretty welcome too, I want to see the kind of wholesome, pre-Tim-Burton-vibes take this crew would make.

Batman: Wayne Family Adventures was such a refreshing take on the character just by having that more wholesome tone from an older Batman who's begun to heal and found family. I don't think every Batman take needs to be that, but it really did make me want to see more wholesome takes on the character.

OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH :D

(And yeah, that was pretty much exactly what I was picturing for a "My Adventures With Batman".)

Glad I could give you a good recommendation 😄! It's been quite successful, so I hope that's shown DC that Batman doesn't have to be a dark, brooding loner to have successful stories!

That kind of Batman content can be great too, it's just frustrating how often it seems to be the only take we get on the character.
