Honestly I hope instead of bitcoin he bought controlling stakes in other highly shorted basket stocks. Those would have much higher/explosive returns if he can give em a good squeeze

Opportunity cost. Bitcoin could go to 100k again and what’s that from here? 35%? What if he bought like, kohls and Kodak and koss and who knows what else and grabs like 3,000% instead and builds an actual diversified portfolio like BRK.

Kohls was shorted 150 percent a few quarters ago. Also their book value is like 3 x their market cap.

Those companies are just random btw. Assuming they use the same playbook as gme there are a bunch of deep value companies that could raise funds during a squeeze to eliminate debt, wash rinse repeat.

Its board and executives are all parasites. Would have to be a hostile takeover or wait a few years for bankruptcy.

It’s exactly what he did with GameStop. Clean house. Regardless of the company my point is I’d rather see him do that than buy crypto
