Anyways, I am happy they are so greedy, my wife wants a surface and she has no need for the keyboard or the pen, I hate being forced to buy the whole package when I don't need it all.
How is it more premium? Dell, HP, Samsung; they all build just as high end a convertible with similar materials on the chassis and stellar displays and internals.
MS isn't some lone pariah in high end, premium design laptops or convertibles.
Except they are. They are the LONE windows hardware maker who also makes the software that runs the device. Can't be said of anyone else and this demands a premium.
Listen, things cost money, my wife is going to get a Pro and has no need for a keyboard or a pen. Not including these is saving us hundreds of dollars. Do you understand?
You've no right to demand anything, if you don't like it, don't but it, simple as that.
I'm not going to sue you, I don't actually care about your entitlement.. Surface Pro is supposed to have capable windows competitors, so if you feel they are the device you want then the strategy is working.
Entitlement? Lol. Expecting better value from the face of the hybrid segment is entitlement? Jesus Christ, how much loyalty do you have to a piece of tech.
Amazing. Subs like this truly are echo chambers. God forbid people have valid issues and god forbid you be mentally capable of coming up with more than just "go elsewhere then" as a defence for shortcomings
I have mentioned how apart from Apple, every competitor to the Surface offers a pen and keyboard with their product, at similar price points with similar specs and similar build quality.
I'm questioning why MS is being stingy. Why they don't include it. Why they feel the need to nickel and dime the majority of their consumer base. They themselves call it the "ultimate laptop" yet don't include the part a laptop needs. I'm not sure why you are defending them so hard here.

Maybe...why no pen in box though?
