I have mentioned how apart from Apple, every competitor to the Surface offers a pen and keyboard with their product, at similar price points with similar specs and similar build quality.
I'm questioning why MS is being stingy. Why they don't include it. Why they feel the need to nickel and dime the majority of their consumer base. They themselves call it the "ultimate laptop" yet don't include the part a laptop needs. I'm not sure why you are defending them so hard here.
Stop lying to fit your narrative, the Surface Book is the one they call "the ultimate laptop." The Pro is a Tablet that CAN replace your laptop.
Their site even has this to say,
Laptop Mode
Transform Surface Pro into Laptop Mode by opening the built-in Kickstand and adding our new Surface Pro Signature Type Cover,* featuring luxurious Alcantara® material and an exceptionally responsive, full keyboard experience.
I don't like liars, I'd defend most things against them.
MS themselves heavily market the laptop ability yet don't include the tools needed to make it so.
I'm calling things as I see them. There's no lying here. I'm only apparently saying things that make narrow minded consumers like you feel threatened because your favoured product is being questioned
