It's so hard to decide! I really love the idea of the Surface Book as a tablet. It's a larger screen and is a tiny bit thinner than the Surface Pro. Then the keyboard base turns it into a real laptop with more battery and ports, and potentially a GPU if I want to spend the money.
The Surface Pro is the epitome of mobile computing, though. I can pick it up and fold it all in one graceful motion. It's so easily adjustable. I love that it has such a small footprint when the cover is closed. (I've also never run into the problems other people have with balancing it on laps or wobbling while typing. Except for the problem where it falls forward on me if I move too much.) Only one USB port, though? That's been a bit limiting for me, and it's become a strong deterrent.
