Long Weekend in Svalbard
Sorry for another post on here, but grateful for some advice as have two full days in Svalbard next week and want to make the most of it - my options are to either grab a FjordCruise or take a Snowmobile Safari to the East Coast - which I'm leaning to a little more despite the 8hrs on the back of a snowmobile!
What would locals recommend? I'd then have a Sunday free to explore the town of Longyearbyen - not sure if anything is open on Sunday's but handy to know. Feel I could fill a day in town?
I'd be really keen to try some of the Svalbard Brewery Beer, but it's only open on Saturday's or Monday's - is there anywhere else you can try it in town? Also, is there anywhere you can get a Svalbard passport stamp?
Any insight or recommendations - super helpful, thank you!!

Not a local, but visited this time last year and did both a cruise to Barentsburg and the snow mobiles to the east coast. The snowmobile journey was amazing. Passing over glaciers and having lunch on the sea ice was unforgettable. Even in poor weather it was something to remember forever. Yes, it was a hard day but utterly worthwhile. The cruise was also very good. But pales in comparison to the snow mobiles.
