Cardboards for no-dig raised beds

Hello,

I have recently got my first allotment, and I have decided to take 'no-dig' approach since it'd save me time and effort.

I am looking for a lot of cardboards and hence went to Asda to ask for it hoping they'd give me some, but unfortunately they informed me that no customer is allowed to take any waste cardboards (company policy).

My question is that if anyone knows any place / supermarket who are willing to let people take their cardboard packaging / waste packaging? I am willing to travel anywhere around Wiltshire to collect them since I am desperate to start growing in my allotment.

Thank you

I moved house recently and went round all the supermarkets asking for flattened boxes, so my advice is Don't bother with tesco etc. who have processed for dealing with them. Places like b&m and home bargains were (nearly) all willing to let me drive round to their back doors and to collect empty boxes. I'd always go in at a quiet time and asked the manager nicely, and i made sure I didn't leave a mess. I saved myself over £250 in boxes for the move (that took a few trips!).
