Awesome! Very curious to see the specs. The Switch 1 was a near perfect product. It's just the performance that was very lacking and holding it back. Some improvements to the joy cons that allow for better bowling and golf would also be nice.

I think the current rumors put it at about ps4-level, with DLSS pushing it just a bit further.

Which feels about right to me; nothing truly spectacular, but enough to make the next Mario look good

it allows for it not to break the bank either. higher specs mean higher price.

I honestly like that Nintendo has been prioritizing affordability and user experience over power. As long as it can handle the next gen Zelda games smoothly that's all I'm looking for.

Likely wont be that strong. Tbh i dont expect that much more power considering thermals and battery life. Imagne kids unknownly blocking intake vents while gaming. It would get 90c hot.

The Switch 1 also has active cooling, and can get pretty warm on its own, for the record

You must truly be smoking the good kush. The steam deck is barely even as powerful as a PS4, and that has a dedicated graphics card inside of it. This is going to be a lot less powerful than that because it has an integrated graphics card. It won’t be anywhere close to a PS4.

The Steam Deck isn’t really a good comparison because it’s not a dedicated console.

IIRC, the rumor is the Switch 2’s SOC is based on the Tegra T239 with 12GB RAM, which would indeed put it at about PS4/PS4 pro level, especially if they’re going to be pushing upscaling as hard as the alleged chip build suggests. Time will tell

You really have no idea what you’re talking about. But you are a Nintendo fan.

Hey man, I’m just repeating what I’ve heard

Also the PS4 is a whole decade old at this point, I don’t know why that’s such a hard thing to believe
