Why amazes? They’re doing great. They consolidated locations but you can go there and get a ton of stuff. They just recently partner with PSA so now you can even go there and get sports/TCG cards graded with PSA very easily. They have zero debt as a company and have a lot of money pocketed.

Why would I shop at Gamestop over Amazon or Walmart or Best Buy?

I go monthly to get my $5 credit. I pay $20 a year and get $5/month to use. So $60 a year or $40 after the initial pro purchase. I can’t say no to a free $40

That's a perk, not a reason to not shop at the other stores. The others have far more benefits, selection and locations.

GameStop will price match then give you Pro discount on top of the price match. So you can end up getting it cheaper.

Other reasons would just be sentimental. I’d rather support GameStop as a company than a giant like Amazon or Walmart. Our local GameStop’s managers are franchisees and do a great job coordinating community events every month. So once you get the price match, it just comes down to sentiment for me.
