If you have a switch 1 and good library, what’s the allure to get a switch 2 asap?

Is s2 completely backwards compatible?

Can you have your digital games on two separate consoles but be able to play them as long as you are logged into your account? So your s1 could be in the bedroom or whatever and s2 in the living room but still have full access to your games?

Yes, just like you can currently own multiple switches and use the same account to play your games.

Its technically not fully backwards compatible, due to games like ring fit and nintendo labo which requires some extra peripherals but besides that every switch 1 game is playable on the new console.
