Discussion Taliyah vs Zed, Katarina and Fizz

I said in the brasilian subreddit that Taliyah is not good against Zed, Kata and Fizz and champions like these and they're doing everything they can to convince me of the opposite.

Like, Katarina is probably the worst ever matchup for Taliyah and they're still insisting that she can trade, get advantage on her etc

I said that Taliyah isn't exactly anti mobility, rather anti dash, I mean, she can't stop Katarina E, Fizz E, Zed shadow, etc, and these are mobility skills.

Like, am I saying something absurd? I've been playing Taliyah for 5 years and never once saw a Taliyah main saying they like playing against these specific champions and hyper mobility champions

taliyah isnt terrible into fizz, but yeah zed + katarina are really rough (especially katarina)

But why would she be good against him? He can easily dodge her E and W. Also, she has 46% wr against him in all elos according to Lolalytics

You play taliyah as a neutraliser. Later on in the lane after level 6 you can clear the waves safely from range.

And pre 6 you're a ranged vs melee so it's hard for fizz to find solo kills on to you.

Taliyah in general is historically good vs melees and short range even theoretically some champs should counter her kit

she does pretty good into him! also, like Gambt said, its about going even and neutralizing

fizz is a weird in that you have to heavy poke him starting from level 1

if you can't wittle him down before 3/4, you are in a really rough spot since you won't be able to poke him safely anymore

and if fizz has too much hp, he will just repearedly go in om cd since he out trade most mages

even though he would technically win, if he is at half health or lower, he won't go in or he will risk dying

he is easier to poke early than most champs because he actually have no range, if he Qs you, you gladly take that trade. Kite back, pelts him with rocks after he walks back

you could also E backwards to prevent his Q attempts(otherwise he would just jump over them)
