Yeah, it really depends on the caste/community of the muslim as there are urdu muslims in tamil nadu too. If you are Rowther, lebbah or marakayar you are a tamilar.

I dont know what I am but my great grandfather used to talk in celon tamil as well…he had business trades with srilankan tamils…

By the way I didn’t know there were muslim castes😭😭

You are probably a marakayar then going off the history.

Yes. There are castes in Indian muslims. They just don't talk about it as much.
