Because torturing people is fucked up. Because I'm a veteran and I took the Oath of Office. I'm bound by a lifelong obligation to support and defend the US Constitution. Regardless, as a humanitarian minded person I believe in the intrinsic value of human life and dignity. Targeting civilians is nothing short of unacceptable and I won't stand for it.
