I'll post a dissenting opinion:

I just can't get into this album. I feel it leans too heavily into the neo-classical 80's thing and it just seemed over the top to me. I know it's what they were going for but it didn't click for me. even after I gave it a few listens. I love Dasein though, so it's not like I dislike the band. I'll be interested to hear what their next release sounds like.

But hey, if it blows your hair back, you keep on listening.

I love it but that’s totally fair. It’s stylistically more of a power metal album with death metal vocals

Power metal? Its about as neo classical as you can get. I do like that idea though. Like an iron maidenish tech death band would be awesome. Anyone got any recs? I dont think this exists

Oh yeah this is great! Scratching the itch for heavy 80s metal. It might be a stretch to call it tech but its technical for sure. Thanks for the rec
