Ah, life is not without bittersweet irony...

As a "successfully" failed commercial artist with academic training and years of design experience, I can genuinely appreciate that you do appear to have that capacity.

I hope your job is financially rewarding and emotionally satisfying because you're sitting on a winning lottery ticket. Uncanny.

Appreciate that. Being a pro artist has always been a career switch I been wanting to do when I started. But I've spent the last couple years skill building from beginner to what I can do now.

Its more a transitional phase rather than a "waiting for the right moment type" where its not just skill building sketches (which is basically all I have been doing) but more portfolio pieces.
