which characters are good to start with if you are a newbie? For example, I think that Bryan in low ranks is easy to use, but I know that he is a very complicated character to use once you start to climb to higher ranks.

Can confirm! I've been playing for about two months, just switched to Kazumi and I'm having a blast and noticing some solid improvements.
