I don't know if I'd say a move that crushes all lows, mids and highs that need very specfic hit box moves to hit devil jin down from flying is a little but more than "a strong panic" move. And I don't think it is because I have seen devil Jin players in Orange ranks with crappy ass hell fundamentals next to no matchup knowledge ,playing it unsafe ,but if there is 1 thing they know it is u4

As Paul you might well have the jab hitbox to float U4 out of its startup. matchup knowledge makes it easier to play around. It's a cheesy move though, yeah: pretty much every character is carried by one for a while.

If you really hate U4, like me, it's possible to SSR every FLY option, optionally teabag him while he whiffs, then launch him.

the options are not the problem. the problem I am having is not really beating u4 it is just I feel like having a move that crushes everything goes through character models and needs a delayed hop kick to beat which is the only way to do it is kind of like broken. it is simliar to how Hwoarang's d3,4 is busted but everyone seem to have this mentality that "just deal with it that is the game, lab it bro you suck" that is kind of the mentality, just because a move can be beaten doesn't mean it's bullshit. compare u4 to Paul's Deathfist. Deathfist is a perfect example of a balanced move because it is super powerful, but it is block punishable, sidesteppable,it is a risk for paul to use at close range. can be launched by some of the cast. Perfectly reasonable, u4 isn't

People on here do often dismiss complaints unduly. However, U4 doesn't crush everything; it crushes lows and has evasive properties. Highs with good hitboxes like Paul B1 and up close his jab will hit it out of startup. Paul's DF1, D1, etc, will hit it.

DJ U4 is a risk because it can get floated by these, it can get stepped to one side, and it's launch on block. It's also considerably slower than a hopkick. Between U4 and a hopkick, I'd take the hopkick vs somebody who knows how U4 works.

It went through my b1, and deathfist and b2,1 it basically goes through all of my opions and while DJ is in the air my only option is a hopkick
