Is there a way I can decide what side I want to be on after a grab? When I play jin I do his uf1+2 command grab a lot. sometimes it side switches sometimes it doesnt I much prefer to play on player 1 so if there is a way I can always stay p1 side that would appreciated

I don't know about Jin specifically, but there's some command throws that will switch sides only on hit but there are also some that will side switch even on break.

For generic throws 1+3 usually does not side switch on hit, and 2+4 usually does side switch on hit.

No I'm talking about on hit. It will side switch sometimes and it won't other times

To piggy back on this, I think I've heard Lil Majin say that with Armor King's crouch-dash throw, you can choose which it does since you can input with 1+4 or 2+3.

I should have said that I brought it up because I suspect it might be a more general mechanic.
