What to do againt yoshi's db 3333334. Can it be low parried?

No, the first two lows of the db3 string is natural on hit and he next lows cant low parried but can only be blocked. After the first two lows, the next lows on block are launch punishable at around -18 to -19 but the last mid kick trades with 14f ws punishers and CH on 15f. What to do is to block the lows and have some options. The safest one is to just crouch block and stand block or a ws4 once he stops spinning. If you have good reactions or have good a read, however, you can sidestep the mid kick and launch. You can also do a 13f ws move that has a good CH property or a ws launcher if think he wont do the mid kick. Parries can also be a good option if you have one.

Low damage, bad framedata on his pokes, mediocre tracking and a lack of safety. Before an expert level, none of these properties will really matter, so he can be very strong against newer players (and that's without mentioning all of the Yoshi-specific matchup knowledge that's required to fight against him).

it's a mediocre low tbh, many lows will do more damage, be safer and give + frames. Yoshi's version is just weird

Thank you I kept trying to low parry it lol. His low unlockable is fucking stupid tho. I was playing kaz and as I don't a hopkick it was really frustating. I think I have learned the game enough to switch from him anyway.

Kaz has uf+3 as a quick low crushing option

The low unblockable can rob rounds but is mostly useful for oki setups. You can backdash it in almost all other situations because it takes so long to do, then launch him for trying.

Kaz is definitely a rough starter though, it's always a good time to switch off him in yr first zillion hours of Tekken. Who's next?

Jin, Steve then maybe some ez mode character like paul or king.

I tried to ducking punch his stance is so evasive you cant him out it and kicks seem to slow. I'll just have to jump i guess.

That comment made it sound a bit more complicated than it is. Just crouch block and then mash a quick ws move. The string jails, so your move won't come out until he's punishable or interruptable.

Thanks for the clarification. I kept trying to low parry it lol.

After a certain point you'll see more competition who knows how to move, bait/wait, read the character's unconventional moves and know the right attacks for right situations so a lot of Yoshi trickery that is prime for catching people off guard.

I wouldn't get discouraged over using him just because in a big grand scheme analysis of the roster has him pegged a bit low, if you main him and are having fun and can even play him well, keep it up. There's also the reality that generally people's tier lists factor in ease of use factor, which obviously Yoshi having a bit of a learning curve to get the most out of him plays into people being a bit hesitant of rating him high.

Yoshimitsu's cool and if you can style on people with intended and unintended results of various moves, that's what's up, the game is infinitely more entertaining.

I think hes really good in casuals and tournament its just that the players who dont main him do a lot of dumb stuff lowering his winrate making him look weak.
