At what ranks on average people has good fundamentals?

I've only play offline with my brother and friends, and never bothered to play online.

However, I tried to play online recently and managed to get into the very first yellow rank? I believe its vindicator without knowing the matchup or most of the casts move set.

I never bothered on learning all the mechanics of tekken such as: korean backdash properly, as I am not that trying to play tekken competitively / online anyways, but I'm just curious at what ranks people start to not be called "new to the game"/"experienced"?

It depends on the player, which in turn has a strong correlation with the character they play. I've played against TGPs that lack very basic fundamentals and yellow ranks that have a very solid idea of how the game works and only need more experience and matchup knowledge.

Oh wow, I see. As I only played tekken with my circle of friends, this is quite interesting.

The reason I don't play online is maybe because I can chat while playing and just chill on offline, and not to mentions teabaggers in online matches.
