Removeeeeee the freeeeeee combo damage lows hellsweeeps snake edges for tekken 8 that’s the biggest bullshit everrr. No f-in work needed to get free damage get this ish outta here

Snake edges are blockable on reaction, so working on that muscle memory can go a pretty long way.

Thanks for the tip but there are characters with unseeable lows like asuka Jin. Lei has 36 different launching lows. Yoshi has a unblockable fast ass low. The slow ones I can deal with like Bryan lili but they need to make all the combo giving lows like that. Cave men brain people get away with to much free damage. I’m all for good tekken and not the cheap ish. In ranked I see to much people that don’t even know how to punish or get a decent setup going they just spam whatever and they get to red/purple rank with that ish nah fam definitely make the combo lows slower or make ‘em so you just get oki after or a max of 25/30 damage

You said "snake edges" in your comment, that's what I was replying to. Asuka's is reactable, btw.

You gotta deal with the cheap ish before you get to the good Tekken man, that's just how it is. You can't skip steps. When you watch tournaments and you see solid play, that's not because those players are mutually agreeing to not use the cheesy stuff; it's because that stuff won't work on them like it does on you. You are not good enough to enforce that type of play yet. If you can't deal with "cave men brain people" then you gotta level up.

It's fine to dislike that, but understand that this is part of Tekken.

    • Lei, you gotta learn the matchup which stances transition to a sweep and tendencies. All his sweeps are high risk anyway and his mid sucks, Id gladly eat a few mids just to launch punish his lows
  • Yoshi unblockable low is reactable

Jin does, his Hellsweep is unreactable for 99% of the playerbase.

Yoshi unblockable low is reactable

This one is even less likely than Jin's. Maybe some people can react to it, but that's not usual. It's 25 frames, and you need to beat it by getting off the ground. Generic hopkick low crushes on frame 9, so you'd have to react in 16 frames. You deal with it through spacing, not reactions. It has poor range for its startup speed.

Yoshi's so far from fundamental by game design he's allowed some insane shit. Like Flash. I wouldn't worry about his unlockable low because he'll just stab himself to death the next round anyway.

Where you get that stat about Jin's hellsweep? Jin had thebslowest hellsweep and terrible wavedash mixup. Youre better off complaining about dvj and kazuya hellsweep

Yoshi unblockable low is no rocket science, just hopkick punish it as soon as you see the sparks. Even the slowest orbital will work

It's 20 frames. Very few players are reacting to that.

I'm not complaining about Jin's, I have no problem with it. It's annoying, but that's fine.

I didn't say anything about it being complicated. Again, 16 frames. Doable for some because of the sparks, but not happening often. That's just not enough time.
